Do not buy leads!

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Here’s why… You can get the same amount of traffic for free by building relationships online and you can get better quality this way. Join social networks, and make your presence known to people. You do not want to blatantly advertise like I have seen many people do and it’s a real turn off. It just seems like they are trying to gain a quick buck. You want to build friendships. Leads that are bought usually never convert well at least to my experience. Get to know people on sites like myspace and facebook. I don’t like many of the social networks that are solely for marketing because there is usually lot’s of spam and lot’s of competition. You should be in the mindset of quality rather then quantity. If you have money to invest, it should be on something to expand your knowledge… not 1 time leads that might not do anything for you. At least with information products you can learn something new that you can put to practice.

One thing I also notice is that people are always ready to quit early and never look into the future of their business and move on to something else for a quick buck. When I joined a few programs in the past… I noticed one of my sponsors constantly moving onto something else quickly and never really taking the time to take to their affiliates. It’s not a bad thing to join multiple programs because it’s a good way to make multiple income streams. You want to take the time to teach your referrals exactly what you do to build their business so that they can ultimately do the same and build their business thus making you more money. That’s why it’s the best thing to build a relationship with them rather than promoting randomly.

Systems don’t fail… People do!

Monday, November 24th, 2008

This is the first thing you have to remember before joining an online business. Many people are looking for this get rich quick scheme and expect to do nothing as soon as they join… that’s not how business works. You have to promote it. It’s also good to do a little research about any products or services before purchasing and if they are free it’s best to just check it out for yourself since it won’t hurt. (Some stuff might be biased however) I’ve found many great programs in the past that were free that made me lot’s of money and some of the people I was promoting it to thought it was too good to be true. I just left them alone because persuasion isn’t something I like to do, but they missed a good opportunity that was free on top of that. You will notice that some people are quick at calling a program a scam because they personally haven’t had success with it and those are usually the people that put what they have learned into practice. You have to be persistent because if you just sit around I guarantee you won’t make a dime.

Choosing the Right Home Business For You

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

With constantly advancing technology it is no longer necessary for business to be conducted during traditional business hours or in traditional business environments. This is opening new avenues and opportunities for people to develop successful home-based businesses. The flexibility that home-based businesses wage is appealing to many individuals who are hot to break free of the traditional 9-5 business mold. One element that all successful home-based business people share is being self-motivated and organized, but even the most motivated would-be entrepreneur must carefully weigh what particular type of business they are best suited for. Evaluating one’s skill sets, interests, personality and temperament are important aspects to consider when determining if, and what type of home-based business is the right fit.

Setting firm business and individualized goals will help determine what resources (effort, time, and money) must be allocated to the business in order to see the growth and returns desired. It is not uncommon to hear people state that they want significant profits in the long term with minimal time commitment. This may be doable once the business is well established in the chosen market, but may be unrealistic when first starting out.

Being honest about what you truly want out of a business will ensure that you make the right choice. For example, if substantial profits are the measuring stick for success, significant time and effort may be required in order to achieve that goal. This is especially true if, as with most home-based start-up businesses, one is working without the backing of personnel, and other resources that established businesses may have. Likewise, if pursuing an at-home business is appealing because of the flexibility of hours and freedom of lifestyle, profitability may remain relatively low.

Secondly, temperament and personality are critical traits to consider when determining not only if being an at-home entrepreneur is a sound decision, but also what type of business a mortal is best suited to. A mortal who loves to talk and forms cushy friendships may have a very lucrative future in income or service related industries. Conversely, someone who prefers to work in solitude might find great success working with data-entry or record-keeping services, or even running an online store.

Owning your own business can wage the near needed to develop or strengthen additional skill sets and branch out in a new direction. The key here is to make sure there is a solid foundation to build on. To build a strong foundation, try moving into related services first. For example, if you are running a medical billing company from home, expanding into collections for these doctors can boost business while also helping to develop additional skills.

Jumping into the role of owner in business is extremely exciting and can be a little frightening. Having a firm grasp on what type of business is best suited to one’s particular goals and skills is the cornerstone to building a solid business. This will enable the company to grow and in turn serve both the owner’s and the client’s unique needs.

In 1995, Dalbey Education Institute founder Russ Dalbey set out to wage customers with the highest calibre of wealth-building products, services and networking resources for buyers and sellers of real estate and all other cash flows.

I also want to thank Russell Dalbey for the good information here.

Data Entry at Home – The Four Signs of a Scam

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Nearly everyone has been the victim of a scammer, especially those who want a data entry at home position. These connivers use many different tricks of the trade to defraud people and their money.

Whether you know it or not, chances are that you may have been scammed or know someone who has been scammed by a data entry at home position. An example is that of someone sending you an email claiming that there are rebates positions available. Emails that claim that there are typing positions with a company that you have never heard of. These are really cool customers and you need to use common sense when dealing with them.

If It Is Too Good To Be True, Then It Usually Is!

One of the easiest ways to be marked for a scam is to open your email and click on a link that promises you a data entry at home position. The trouble is, you have to pay a small “shipping fee” and they ask you for your credit card. Don’t even go there. Leave that site without entering any of your individualized information or credit card information. This is one of the oldest scams in the book today. They can make you believe that you are King Tut, if you let them. Use common sense when dealing with these types of people.

They Promise You an Exorbitant Sum Will Come Your Way By Working For Them.

During those times when you are searching for a data entry at home position, you tend to be blinded by the promise of excellent income your first week. Run away folks! No one makes that kind of money especially during their first week on the job. Eliminate any contact with this type of mortal or group. They can promise you the moon with all their slick talk, but they in truth cannot deliver on their empty promises. This is just to build your confidence and suck you into smoke and mirrors causing you to lose not only money but wasted time as well.

They Want Personal Information.

Another data entry at home helpful tip to look for is that they want individualized information such as a credit card or checking account. This is a sure way to clean you out. Do not send any information to them at all. Once they have access to this information, your accounts are as good as toast. They will clean them out and run out of town like a night bandit. This can also lead to indistinguishably theft. SO Beware. You have been warned!

No Telephone Number

When looking at data entry at home, bear in mind that some ads don’t have phone numbers. It is one sign of a scammer, or if it does have a phone number, you can’t talk to anyone on it. It just has an answering machine. This is one sign that you have been scammed by someone of ill repute. Another sign is evasive answers when you try and pin them down for things such as payment and things of that nature. Always check references and remember, when in doubt, DON’T!
